HOW
TO JOIN
Any author,
composer or publisher of a work that has or will
be reproducted on audio or audiovisual
contrivance can become a member of SODRAC.
All it takes is signing a contract with SODRAC in
which the songwriter or publisher assigns the
reproduction right in their works to SODRAC. In
return, the Society agrees to administer the
reproduction of such works and to pay the members
the royalties collectes as part of its operation.
The contract defines the commission SODRAC
retains for this service to finance the society's
operations. There is no registration fee.
Royalties are paid four times per year : March
15, June 15, September 15 and December 15.
