Private copying: Save the levy!

You are no doubt familiar with the benefits associated with the Canadian private copying regime. However, due to the rise in popularity of digital audio recorders, this significant source of royalties for you is now at risk. The Canadian Private Copyright Collective, of which SODRAC is a member, has been working hard to ensure that the issues of private copying levies and digital audio recorders are addressed during the review of the Copyright Act announced by the federal government.
